No, it was not out of state. It was a Jeep. Wrangler. Obviously.
Like this
A little interweb research tells me there’s this stereotype about folks who go to the beach like once a year and immediately get this sticker like they’ve lived in Florida for 10 generations. Is it true? Donno.

Because it’s the new TAP OUT

These were standard issue in Eastern NC when I lived there. I was tempted to buy one for my mom just because of how much she likes to salt her food.

Maybe for a similar reason why so many people in my state have Confederate flag license plats, even though we were technically a northern state (we had slaves, but narrowly voted to stick with the union, so we count as northern).

I see these in Arizona.

I saw quite a few in NC, SC, Georgia and Florida and it makes sense there. A 2 door Wrangler or a Pickup with this sticker is the standard-issue Bro/Gal vehicle.

Those idiots’ ancestors probably even fought for the Union.

Its actually referring to the fact that it’ll only be fit for David Tracy to drive in a few years due to all the salt on your roads. Sort of like a c’est la vie slogan for all your salt covered roads

because people want to be different, just like everyone else.
![]() 04/10/2018 at 20:58 |

Because road salt.
Honestly I hate these. Around here they’re typically found next to a 30A sticker.

the fuck? I mean Utah make sense kinda. Salt Lake City, Bonneville Salt flats and all that I guess?

Every Jeep, Pickup, SUV, Crossover and Minivan had this. Basically anything non-car.

Most likely, especially since a large part of the current population seems to be transplanted from Pennsylvania.

I haven’t seen them in a while now. I think it went the Ed-hardy clothes. Do people still wear Affliction clothing these days? They are the Tacticool shirt of choice.

30A? Oh wow I just discovered something new. Never seen one yet.

Don’t let everyone know about 30A! :D

I keep reading these as “Slut Life”. Not sure why.

There are so many of these, there are knockoffs for just about every college team or anything you can think of.
I still like Salt Life with a salt shaker.

I thought the same thing.

I see a lot of them here in Colorado. I also see a lot of diving enthusiast bumper stickers. Do they know there’s no water here?

My sister had one on her Mariner when she lived in Minnesota, Because she’s a “Carolina gurl” at heart. Alone with a 311 decal, and a poi flower. All in pink. Along with pink seat covers, and pink steering wheel cover.

I’ve seen a few in Colorado too.

SO many in Denver! What gives?
![]() 04/10/2018 at 21:28 |

I mean, I know weed is legal here and all, but you should still be able tell that there isn’t any friggin’ water anywhere.

Is it next to the “Native” Sticker? That kind of makes it a contradiction I guess.

Ugh.

Why not? I mean I don’t have property there.

I think it’s a southern thing.

They’re all over Chicago FFS. “Slut Life”

I’d wager that people with No Fear stickers have also jumped during scary movies....
Alternatively:

Hah! I remember those. I use to doodle the “No Fear” thing all over my middle school books.

They like that MSG :)

We have the Salt River, but it isn’t actually salty. Fucking white people.

Back in the day when were saw these the prevailing catchphrase was:”No Fear. No Fucking Idea”.

Maybe they like seafood?

Maybe they work for a potato chip maker

30A is a highway along the panhandle. It represents the beaches on the Florida Gulf.

I’m aware of this. I’m also not sure if this was meant for me.

Oh, okay. How you said it made me think you didn’t know what it was, either, I’m sorry.

I’m surprised at the lack of YETI stickers on the back of that Jeep.
